Our Story
Rooted in three generations of farming passion, Rackery Farm Shop is the heart of our family’s lifelong love for the land. What began as a family dairy has grown into a welcoming space where tradition meets community — a place to enjoy fresh, local produce, delicious homemade food, and genuine countryside hospitality.
OUR STORY
Larissa and Jake want to bring a unique destination to the Wrexham area where customers can enjoy locally sourced produce both in the farm shop and the cafe at an affordable price. Quality and freshness are something we pride ourselves on and Larissa works extremely close with lots of local suppliers to stock the farm shop and items for the cafe menu too.
At Rackery Farm Shop we love meeting all our new and returning customers, we look to bringing new and exciting events during the seasons.

OUR HISTORY
Rackery Farm was established in 1967 by Larissa and Jakes grandparents and Larissa's parents in 1997 (second generation) and we are now the third generation of the farm. Jenny and Andrew Jones (Larissas parents) still farm the land at Rackery Farm and Vicky and Dave Matthews (Larissa and Jakes sister & brother-in-law) now farm the farm milking the herd of Friesian dairy cows at Rackery Farm to produce Rackery Dairy milk.
Larissa started her dream of opening a farm shop over 15 years ago, being involved in the family farm on weekends and evenings around school and university she always had a passion for agriculture and being involved in the family farm.
Since then, Jake and Larissa have progressed their dream into a reality by building what is now Rackery Farm Shop along with there young son Billy.
